Sign up if you’re interested in administering in-home vaccinations to our most vulnerable population in New York.
As the COVID-19 vaccine becomes available to more and more New Yorkers, it is essential that we find ways to vaccinate New York’s elderly population. New York’s 3.2 million elderly may find it difficult or unsafe to leave their home and travel to a vaccination site.
As part of our Vaccine Drive, Ro aims to vaccinate vulnerable New Yorkers from the safety of their homes—at no cost to them.
You’ve got questions? We’ve got answers.
Nurses and pharmacists with valid NYS licensure, BLS certification, and certification to immunize are eligible at this time. In the future, we may expand to other eligible healthcare providers. In order to be qualified as a vaccinator, you need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. That means you have received your second dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine at least 10 days prior to your first shift.
Payments will be made via check or direct deposit on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
You will be responsible for transportation to and from the vaccine supply pickup location. During your shift, Ro will provide Uber rides for transportation between appointments.
This initiative is being offered by Ro, a healthcare technology company, with its subsidiaries Ro Pharmacy and Workpath.
Ro will not make any profit from this initiative.
Depending on Vaccine Drive’s success, we may expand the populations we’re serving in New York or launch in other states. Once the general public is eligible for vaccinations, we may also offer this service to restaurants and local businesses, to make it easy to vaccinate an entire workforce conveniently in the workplace.
